Biotek Environmental, Inc. was founded on four core values, that we believe are at the heart of our success. We practice these equally as all four of these core values are integral for our business. Hence, we do not consider one of our core values more important than the other as the only true way to adhere to one is also to practice them all.

Biotek Values

Our Core Values

Integrity: Do the right thing, no matter how bad it hurts.
Doing the right thing is often uncomfortable, even financially painful or emotionally distressing, but “doing right” is always our goal. In some situations, the “right” thing is to do something for a customer that you may not be legally or morally required to do, simply because it builds good will and strong relationships. For example, we were called to a crawlspace “warranty” issue, and it was obvious that the wood had been soaking wet at some point, a clear violation of our warranty provisions. In this case, the person who called us was not the original client. However, they had recently purchased the home, so they had limited responsibility for the damage that had occurred.

We could have “legally and morally” declined the warranty claim and had the current owner pay the full cost of remediation, but we chose to do the work at no cost. It simply seemed to us to be the right thing to do.
Service: Make every customer a positive reference.
Our philosophy about customer service is simple. Take exceptional care of the customer, and they will tell others about how they were treated. Conversely, if we don’t treat them right, they will also tell others about their experience. We like option one better! As a result of that unwavering focus on customer service, we are an A+ Rated company with the Better Business Bureau and have been awarded the Angie’s List Super Service Award for five consecutive years. This award is only given to the top 5% of service providers in the nation.
Respect: Respect, value and reward employees.
Years ago, I worked for several organizations in which respect for employees was simply missing. Therefore, I swore that if I ever owned a business, the people that I hired would be honored, respected and valued. These people are the lifeblood of our business, and they deserve our appreciation and respect.
Commitment: Build long term relationships.
In every interaction with clients, suppliers, subcontractors or others, our objective is to build a lifelong friendship. Furthermore, we believe that if we truly work to make everyone we meet a new friend, we will treat them as they should be treated and provide service that is “a cut above” our competition.
